The Blues Kitchen

Exploring Shoreditch is always exciting, there are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. I was in the mood for something different, something with character and music. That’s when I stumbled upon The Blues Kitchen and Bar with its rustic interior and blues rhythms, its like being transported to a New Orleans bar. When I glanced at the menu it only got better! It’s filled with smoky barbecue, juicy burgers and lobster accompanied by cocktails or beers.

For starters I ordered buffalo wings and crab doughnuts, yes you read right, crab doughnuts! I didn’t expect it to be really good only because I have never heard of it before but it is a must try. The sweet doughnut and salty crab complement each other so well and it is guaranteed you have never tried anything like it before.

When it comes to buffalo wings I consider myself quite the expert, I try them everywhere I can get them. At the Blues Kitchen I can say they are near perfection. Perfectly crisp and smothered in the delicious buffalo sauce I am so obsessed with.

For mains their burgers are a must try loaded with toppings and cooked to perfection. The lobster was nice but personally I would choose a burger over it any day.

There is a burger of the month that usually is exquisite, lets just say it involves juicy meat with more than enough toppings.

There is live music every night which means you do not have to wait for the weekend to let loose. So if you want good food and great music give this place a go!
