Walking down the busy main streets in London is an adventure in it self, the buzzing metropolitan capital has a lot to offer. When I was done shopping and wanted a quiet yet elegant place to have wine and nibbles with friends I stumbled upon the Churchill bar and terrace at the Hyatt. It is a hidden gem behind the busy streets that takes you away from the noise and into a quiet and stunningly beautiful setting.
It is a short walk from both Marble Arch and Bond street stations and in order to get to the terrace you must enter from the main hotel entrance. There is a £25 minimum spend per person after 4:00 PM but it is well worth it. The décor is white and grey with thick blankets and fluffy seat covers to keep you warm through the cold months. Fairy lights surround the area and for a second you forget you are in the city centre and think you are in the Alps, it is a perfect ending to a busy London day.
There wine list is exquisite and for nibbles I would suggest one of the platters to share, it will not leave you disappointed! The majestic setting will make you never want to leave and sure to return over and over again.
